Easton PA was one of the first three locations where on July 8, 1776 the Declaration of Independence was read. Easton was a commercial hub with railroads and three canals, the Delaware, the Lehigh, and the Morris allowing access in every direction. Easton is home to Lafayette College, Heavy weight champion Larry Holmes, Crayola, the historic State Theatre, beautiful architecture, as well as a host of fun festivals.
