In 1785 Christian Bixler III opened a small jewelry and clock-making shop in downtown Easton, Pennsylvania. This clock (once known as the Orr's clock) still stands as a reminder. Easton, PA 2/14/14
This clock originally stood at 4th and Northampton Streets in front of what was then Bixler's Jewelers. In 1912 was sold to Orr's department store and finally bought back in the 1990's and still stands as a reminder of Bixler's in Easton, PA 2/14/14
